CuteTRONica 1.0 recap
Every event ever planned and executed can only be as awesome as the people who attend. The CuteTRONica 1.0 party certainly was a blast. The turn out was diverse and participants in the Best 80’s Cutie contest came to win! Like all Cute Crew events, everyone came out to have a roaring good time. Version 1.0 Party is the first of three Party events CuteInUrface will be hosting this quarter in DCA’s ElecTRONica. ElecTRONica will be shuffling off the grid in April of this year and we saw it fitting to spend a little time with it before it ends. This first installment of Paerties had an 80’s theme and came with some party swag.

The party started in the Grid with a little dancing, lots of mingling, a few TronJitos and lots of silliness as usual.

^^^ Left to right - Cass, Mrs Cuteness and Royanna ^^^

^^^ DeeDee and Mrs. Cuteness ^^^
^^^ Junior Cuteness and Mrs Cuteness ^^^
^^^ CJ and Mrs Cuteness ^^^
After the Grid closed down the majority of the Crew felt like more fuel was necessary, so we headed over to our spot Trader Sams for some more mingling and dranking. We were happy to meet some more Cute Crew fam members there who did not make it to the Grid.

^^^ Mrs Cuteness, Gio and his lovely Cutie Kait ^^^

^^^ One of our very handsome Cuties, Rod. He got put on time out for time out^^^
Lets not forget my Signature Cute Crew Night Pose!
Once we got enuff liquored up, we stumbled onto the monorail then into the land of magic to shut it down like we always do! There was some random wandering but I do know we went on a couple of rides.

^^^ Here’s me and Cass on Big Thunder Mountain. Goat effect after some rum^^^
^^^ Here’s me and Cutie Marbella posing in front of the Castle ^^^
I know there was a Peter Pan flight that night as well as a Yo Ho Ho sail on Pirates. All in all the Cute Crew did what it does best, made new friends, loved old friends, had lotsa fun and shared some magic!
The next CuteTRONica event is in a few weeks and sometime in March. Be on the lookout for CuteTRONica, “The Legacy Party”. The theme will be futuristic and the date will be announced in the coming week.
I want to thank all the Cuties that came out to Version 1.0! It was sincerely an awesome time. I hope to see you all again at the next one. To all who read this happy recap, get your future gear ready and plan on coming out and joining the Cute Crew! See you all on the Grid!!
Recap of Friday the 13th’s Epic Cute Crew Night
Wow it seems like just a few nights ago I was LOL’ing with all my Cuties and having a most magical time. Friday the 13th Epic Cute Crew Night was a whole lotta epic cuteness. We had a great and very diverse turn out. Got to meet some long time Cute Crew members who made it out finally for their first CC meet. Although it all got off to a sketchy start for me due to my doggy getting out the house and went missing for an hour<—- Tragic story…. It all was forgotten when I walked up to the Tiki themed patio area to see all my favorite Cuties ready to welcome me with shouts of joy and open arms. The warm greeting lifted my mood and switched the Cuteness on to 100%! My only regret was getting a lil too buzzed to remember to meet up with our Cuties that left the social for the park just an hour earlier than the lush Cuties. Good thing they are longtime Cue Crew family that know how I can get when I marginally pass buzzed to swerved, which by the way does not happen all time. Highlight of the night is a rough pick because the whole night was perfect. If I was forced to choose one it would be our after Park hours pics a few of us took. My all time fave being the “Eff the Magic Police” pic you see below. Of coarse I don’t mean eff them in the sense that I disrespect. It’s more in the sense that this pic is as gangsta and original as it can get in the Land of Magic. We really took advantage of the guards doing everything but actually pushing us out the park that night. It’s true the thumbs up gesture is coming back. I would endorse the efforts of it’s come back more often if it were not so unoriginal. Let’s go back a tic to the Cocktail Hours at Sam’s before we terrorized the House of Mouse. The inside of Trader Sam’s Tiki Bar First round of shots were on Scuba Joe- 7 Tiki Rum Cheers!! - ScubaJOE, Ian Sharkbait and ME!! Whats a Cute Crew Night without the signature Cuteness bathroom pic? Literally have no clue why or what…. On our way to the Land of Magic had to give a couple of my Favorite Cuties of all time some love!! Then it was onto the Monorail to wreak havoc and visit some random but favorite attractions. Monorail Casey Jr. King Arthur’s Carousel

It was a fantabulous night as usual when you are in the company of Cuties!
This is my life and it’s full of Magic, Love, Friendship and above all Cuteness!
Official Cuteness Movie Review of “Devil Inside”
I do love a good horror flick but due to my upbringing and own life experiences, I am usually reluctant to watch a movie on the big screen that involves exorcisms or things of that nature. But it was hubbies Birthday date night and that’s what he wanted to see so I caved and tried to grow a pair.
If you are interested in seeing this movie then you need to know it’s filmed and structured, documentary style. We are not talking over dramatic jittery camera scenes or mocked up low resolution shots. Its filmed pretty well actually. The beginning scene is creepy then the build up lags for a bit. Once the story get’s into it’s groove, it’s pretty friggon intense. The effects are unreal and the story is a little more original than I had expected.
I did walk away from the theater rather provoked to think about why I do not enjoy this particular genre of movies and further more why I rarely ever go to see this kind of movie in the theaters. Then I realized my bottom line fear. There are people in the world, even at this very moment, dealing with what they think is possession be it real or not. So much so that the hugest religion in the world has a whole department dedicated to the education and teachings of the ways of exorcism. The Entertainment and Movie industry has done their homework on the subject and I wont disagree that the subject is in fact intriguing. When we watch these movies we are hearing the actual rites and psalms being recited during an exorcism, so my question is that in hearing these recital of words, are we not exposing ourselves to the evil that these words are weapons against? I’m not an over zealous religious nut nor do I even go to church or claim that I hold Jesus in my heart and mind every day and minute of my life. So I may have worried my hubby when we had our traditional after movie discussion. It’s just a thought I had that brought me to understand why religious congregation leaders often preach to their flock that they should not watch movies like this or listen to certain music. Your Thoughts? …..
Overall I’m gonna give “Devil Inside” 4 Cute Winks outa 5
If you decide to check it out for yourself come back here and let me know what you think.

My Princess Is Italy Bound For 3 Years :-(
Last year started off with the birth of my first niece Alyana. My regret now is that I spent very little time with her throughout the crappy year. Just before Thanksgiving my brother got his orders that he was being stationed at a base in Italy for 3 years. They spent Xmas at my house and stayed with us this last weekend. I dont like kids but man she is the cutest lil girl ever. She’s got a wicked cool personality and even my guys couldn’t get enough of her. Now we are all super bummed and sad that when she gets back home to us she will be almost 4 yrs old and a little person who will have no clue who we are. My brother says we will try and SKYPe once a month so I guess unless I hit the lotto or come up in the next couple years so I can go visit, I guess I will have to settle for web cam visits. Here are my best photos of her throughout the year and recently.

A Look Back At 2011’s Cutest Moments
I have not done a good job in hiding the fact that 2011 was pretty crappy overall. My family was financially strapped all year and we had to cope as a one vehicle family. I lost a few friends, made a few friends and had a friend pass away. I must have been plagued with every possible virus and flu that went around and my health was at an all time low. Living life in cuteness was a challenge and at most times an epic fail but when it’s time to reflect back and take inventory of events and moments in your last year, in order to move forward positively you have to take stock in the positive moments as well. Doing so was not as hard of a task as I anticipated but it required focus. So here is my list of my 2011 top 10 positive attributes, moments and all time faves;
- Sharing one vehicle between me and hubby brought us closer together and helped us appreciate each others daily schedules
- Losing what I thought were close friends forced me to evaluate my social circle and cut the fat and drama
- My hubby and I agreed on and planned for business we will be starting together this year
- By separating myself from a dramatic and troublesome social club I was able to start my own social outlet that knows how to make CuteInUrFace :-)
- I took a chance and got involved in a biz venture and gained a best friend in the process
- I made another best friend even though I’ll never admit to her that she is one of my best friends ;-)
- My first baby niece was born and she’s an angel
- As a family we did a lot more fun activities and adventures together
- I helped make an indie flick
- I realized my kids are old enough now that I can do a lot more for myself without feeling irresponsible or guilty
All these great things seem to be rolling over to 2012 and all that was labored on in 2011 will be paying off this year. 2012 has to be better! My resolution is to make it better so why would I wanna fail?

When Is It OK to Throw Elbows in a Crowd?
Today I did my weekly dip into Disneyland park to gather info for my web site. Usually my Tuesday morning visits are kick back and easy. NOT TODAY! The park was gushing with tourists and the crowds were crazy. I didn’t realize that Spring Break had officially begun. It was more than nuts and very much like a summer day in the park. The day was beautiful with blue skies and fluffy white clouds. A perfect day for photos of my favorite spots had it not been for the lack of room to stop and snap a pic. Strollers were every where, ready to run over toes and ram into ankles. Scoot abouts might as well have had armor on them the way they were tanking about, beeping in unison as they backed up trying to get in and out of tight spaces. It seemed that all the tourists had come out today ready to conquer the battle field not letting anyone or anything stand in their way. Im sure the near 80 degrees that our lovely SoCal weather hit, only added to the lack of tolerance and patience of most in attendance. Needless to say, manners were not top priority to a majority of the crowd. I had so many people push past me, run over me and literally almost stepping on my park companions kids. So I had no other option to defend me and mine. Rolled up my sleeves, tied my hair back and walked with my elbows out in an effort to contain my personal space as well as promote the well being of my own safety needs. I am happy to report that I asked 1 gentlemen to please back off as he was nudging a walking 3 yr old to get out of the his way. I threw my elbows out onto 3 woman who literally pushed me from behind trying to get past me. I side checked a teenage boy who kept trying to push his little companions stroller past me. I backed into a foreigner who obviously thought that if he stood on my shoulders it would get him on the ride faster. Oh and I shot hate looks at a gentlemen who was irritated and vocally abusive while standing in a long line for breakfast with the rest of us hungry folks. It was war out there today and I think I can say I came out victorious. I was able to come out with only one bruise and I maintained my cuteness the whole time. So are elbows ok to throw when fighting a crowd? I say yes, if you are tactical about it and you only do so to protect yourself.
Keep fighting the fight and don’t ever let anyone steal your Cute!!!
